Elizabeth and Eli Hopewell begin their home-schooling adventure in the Hopewell series, while being close enough to help out at Grandpa and Grandma Hopewell's farm. Adjusting to their new surroundings, Elizabeth and Eli both receive letters from friends back in Boston with alarming news. With the support of their family and new friends, Naomi and Noah Newcomer, they learn compassion for their friends who live with medical conditions and the struggles they endure. A new project for their home school studies has Eli and Elizabeth finding creative ways to express all that they have learned in this delightful and charming third installment.
