The Broken Teapot is a story about the loving and genuine relationship between Dubzee and her Nana. Dubzee, Nana, and Grace the Dragonfly spend their day at Sharefest on the Planet Kindness. They spend time together celebrating this annual event with their neighbors, friends, community and guests from the surrounding planets in Benevolence. After the festivities Nana and Dubzee spend the rest of their day in a traditional fashion. They spend time making and drinking hot tea from the long treasured Tea Pot that has been passed down through the generations………………….until……….CRASH!! The Broken Teapot illustrates the lesson of understanding and power of forgiveness.
Marianne is a mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She is originally from Staten Island, New York and, when she was twelve years old, began her first job working as a “paper girl,” delivering the Staten Island Advance throughout her neighborhood. Her life’s journey has taken her to living, learning, working, and growing in upstate New York, the southwest, the Florida Panhandle, western North Carolina, and currently south-central Pennsylvania. She has been passionately choreographing and instructing various fitness modalities for thirty years. She worked in the aviation industry in the operations and customer service departments for twenty years and is currently a Human Resources Business Partner for a Global Construction Company and is a Certified Professional Member of The Society of Resource Management. She is a graduate of Wilson College in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania and has a degree in Communications. Marianne maintains that, by far, her most fulfilling and rewarding responsibility is being a mother. Marianne believes, “In kindness, we can all help and hope to make our world a better place for others.”
