A note from the Illustrator & Author Kevin Lepp:

I remember back when I was in art college about twelve years ago, I said "The last thing I'd want to do is make children's books!" God changed that in me completely, because now it's one of my great passions. I believe that making children's books are a large part of my calling, and now I think it's time to swing that door wide open.

Having worked for years in the fields of illustration, graphic design, and publishing, I feel completely equipped to do this project with all the quality that it requires to stand with the big boys. I've illustrated two children's books for reputable publishers, and for the last year and a half I've worked on a number of my own book ideas, both writing and illustrating. All of this has led to the creation of this book.

My decision to begin raising the funds to do this project has to do with my daughter being in the hospital right now. I won't be working as we are in Boston, away from our home in the Charlotte area, so I realized that raising the funds for this project now will give me the time I need to focus on my family, while still being able to pay the bills back home. If we dont raise all the funds it will give us a shorter window of time to work on the project, but I will still get it done. It's God's calling to me, so I WILL get it done :) I don't know how long this adventure with our daughter will last, but I do know that I will be bringing her home at the end, completely whole. And during or after that, I will also birth the first of hopefully many children's books that will help build our kids on the rock solid base Jesus Christ. My desire is for our kids to know God and to know His ways.

If you would like to help us reach our goal, by pledging any amount, we would be tremendously thankful, grateful, and appreciative. And sharing this is HUGE too! We definitely need people to help us spread the word. We trust God, and because He's made us all part of the same body, we reach out to you, the church, to help us in this adventure. God is good. We will experience and share His goodness no matter what tries to come our way!

Thank you :)
