Raising godly Christian children has always been a challenge for parents, but never more so than today. This is particularly true where teenagers are concerned. The more secular society becomes, the farther away it moves from biblical principles, thus increasing the pressure upon young people to abandon their Christian upbringing in favor of the ways and philosophies of the world. This, in turn, makes the job of Christian parents harder, causing many to feel lost, confused, and overwhelmed by the task.

This brief and accessible book is written for parents struggling to raise responsible Christian teenagers in a world that is increasingly hostile to Christian beliefs and values. In nine succinct chapters, Yvonne Maumau discusses pertinent issues related to parenting teenagers, such as the social and cultural influences on today’s teenagers; the top challenges teenagers face; the inevitable issue of teen rebellion; and “hot button” topics such as dating and abortion. Included also are discussions on biblical principles and tips for effective Christian parenting, and practical and biblical encouragement for struggling parents. The central hope of Christian parents for raising solid Christian children rests on trust in our faithful, loving, and invincible God.
